6. EasyStepUK Community Integration Program
Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund
Project Period: June 2025 – May 2027
What We Do:
The EasyStepUK Community Integration Program is a two-year initiative funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. It is designed to support new immigrants in the UK as they adapt to British life. The program provides practical workshops, one-on-one career coaching, cultural orientation, and online resources—delivered both in-person and online.
Our Goals:
Build Community Connections: Bring together new immigrants and local residents to reduce isolation and foster a sense of belonging.
Support Employment & Life Skills: Offer guidance on housing, financial literacy, CV writing, and job search strategies.
Promote Cultural Understanding: Help participants navigate UK culture and systems through workshops and mentoring.
Deliver Accessible Support: Provide flexible, multilingual online resources for those unable to attend in person.
Address Current Challenges: Tackle the cost-of-living crisis with financial education and community resilience tools.

Part 1: Career Training Program
1. Target Audience
The EasyStepUK career training program is designed for:
Individuals applying for UK welfare benefits (e.g., Universal Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance)
Long-term unemployed individuals seeking skill enhancement and job opportunities
New immigrants and low-skilled job seekers aiming to improve their employability
Those affected by the pandemic and looking for a career change
2. Course Structure and Training Content
(1) Job Readiness Training
Objective: Equip participants with fundamental job-seeking skills to improve employment opportunities
Duration: 4 weeks, 2 sessions per week, 2 hours per session
