She lived quietly in Wales for over 20 years far from her homeland, but beside the man she loved.

In December 2024, tragedy struck. Her husband passed away suddenly, leaving her heartbroken and alone.

At 66 years old, with limited English, she struggled to navigate daily life. Her savings were nearly gone, and the small civil pension from her husband' s employer was no longer enough.

One day, she found the number of EasyStepUK. She called us tired, worried, and unsure of her next step.

We spoke with her in a language she understood, and more importantly with compassion. After understanding her situation, we discovered she may be eligible for Universal Credit.

Our team helped complete the necessary questions for her Universal Credit application, then sent a draft as a PDF for her reference.

We also guided her to the local Citizen Advice Bureau for further support or to submit the form herself, if she felt confident.
